With this set you can get started building 2.5D scenes with castles, dungeons, towns with a classic fantasy medieval setting.
ABOUT
The tiles are designed so that most tiles will work in a simple one level isometric engine. The projection is 2:1.
The tiles work within the Tiled editor and the sample is given as a tiled tileset and example levels. So, if your engine works in the same way as Tiled, these tiles will work for your engine.
Tile images are either 512x256 (e.g. walls, ground, etc) or free form sized (e.g. roofs, trees, etc).
Heights for tiles inside the images such as walls, are 160x128 in order to present a clear appearance.
Some tiles, like building cubes are 128x128 which are intended for consistent stacking with smooth texture repeating without overlap.
So, an option if you want to build a tall structure is to use the 128x128 tiles and on the top level use the 160x128 tiles.
With some extra effort for arranging tiles into layers, interiors are an option, as well as interior multi-story structures.
