Latest Updates at GDM - March 2025

As we mentioned in our last update post back in November, the bulk of our development time over the last 6-12 months has been spent working on something new, which we will be providing more details on soon, though we do have a small teaser for you at the end of this post relating to this...

With that in mind, while we don’t have any major GDM updates that have gone live, there’s still a few things to let you know about;

New opt-in for Bundles on Dashboard

We’ve highlighted in the past that one of the issues we have when putting any large bundles together is that we sometimes don’t get a response from people when we try contacting them about potentially being included in a bundle.

To help try to avoid asset creators missing out on these opportunities, we’ve added a new option to the Dashboard page for sellers whose accounts meet the criteria for potential inclusion.

Clicking on 'Find out how' will then bring up information to opt in to internal and/or external bundles, which will then mean you have a much higher chance of being included in future bundles.

New guide to increasing asset visibility

We've also added some extra info on the first page of the new asset upload process that aims to help sellers get more visibility for their assets both on our internal search and on search engines.

The mini guide will give asset creators some quick pointers on 3 key areas - asset titles, descriptions and cover images, all of which can play a major part in your asset appearing in search results and getting potential buyers to click through to them.

Improved sample file error messages

Another small quality of life change for asset creators, we've made any error messages that come up during file uploads clearer to give more details on the actual issue. Sample files too large? The error notification will now tell you that instead of just being a generic error message.

That wraps up the front end changes that have gone live in the last few months, though there's also been a bunch of back end improvements that have been implemented across that time as well.

However, we do have a very quick teaser in the form of a new logo for something coming in the not too distant future...
