It's been a while since our last update, which was back in April, as we've spent the majority of our dev time cooking up something a bit bigger, which we hope to have further info on for you early in the New Year!
However, that's not to say that we haven't still been making improvements to the site, most of which have come directly off the back of the survey we put out earlier in the year, so keep on reading to find out exactly what is new and improved...
New Category Filter Options (Search Coming Soon):
We've introduced new filter options to the asset category pages to help you narrow down your choices and find exactly what you're looking for more efficiently.
For 2D and GUI categories, you can now filter to find Vector, Layered and Sprite assets, Audio can be filtered by total Duration and whether they Loop Seamlessly and 3D can be filtered by Poly Count, Animated, Rigged, Textured, Materials and UV Mapped.
We'll also be applying the new filters to the search results page soon as well.
Quick Wishlisting:
There's already thousands of GDM members that make use of our Wishlist feature, but we've now made it much easier to quickly compile your lists of assets you love!
Our new quick wishlisting feature allows you to add items to your Wishlist with a single click, directly from the category or search results pages. Simply click the heart icon in the asset image to add it to your Wishlist.
Screenshot 2024-11-12 at 10.12.52.png248.83 KB If you don't have a Wishlist already set up, you'll be prompted to give your Wishlist a name when you click the heart icon, but if you already have one in place then clicking the heart is all you need to do to add the asset.
Coupon Threshold Notifier on Cart:
We've been running our spend $50+ for 10% off your next order or $100+ for 15% for a while now, but haven't made the offers as clear as they could be.
To help with this, we've added a coupon threshold notifier to the shopping cart. This feature lets you know how far off activating the coupons you are, once you have at least $25 of assets added to your cart.
Improvements to Dark Mode Function to Remove White Flashes:
Our Dark Mode feature has been improved to be smoother and more consistent. We've addressed the issue of white flashes that occurred during page loads or transitions, providing a truly seamless dark interface that reduces eye strain and enhances your browsing experience, especially in low-light environments.
