Developer, Asset Creator or are you a bit of both?:
Asset Creator but occassionally I also develop apps.
Full Time, Part Time or Hobby?:
Freelancer full time.
How long have you been doing this?:
Sice 2017 so approximately 7-8 years.
What made you become a dev/artist?:
Dropped out of college.
Favourite software/tools to use?:
Just recently I unsubscribed of all Adobe apps. But it would have been llustrator probably as number 1. Photoshop number 2, and Aftereffects as number 3 and then Spine for game animation and Rive for web and UI animation.
For pixel art I use a software called Pyxel. And since I no longer use Adobe I am using replacement apps such as Krita, Affinity and Davinci Resolve.
What’s one tip you would give to someone starting out?:
Practice every day. Master you art/animation.
How do you promote your work (games or assets)?:
Mainly through the asset store itself. Unfortunately I couldn't build up much of a social media following.
What project are you working on now?:
I have a road map for myself. By end of year I want to publish 100 assets. I have 32 as of now. If you want to know what I'm literally working right now that is a bomber enemy character in the art style of 1920s Disney. Also called rubberhose characters, much like Cuphead
And finally, favourite game ever & why?:
Gothic 2. It was a very immersive RPG game and honestly I could not find the same amount of fun and immersion in any other RPG game up to today.
