“Animal Symphony – Dogs Vol. 2” offers a collection of 243 high-quality audio files, each featuring multiple variations (approximately 3 to 10 per file), providing great flexibility for sound design purposes.

The files are organized using a clear and intuitive naming convention, allowing you to easily switch between different microphone recordings and select or blend the best takes for your needs.

This library was recorded using high-end equipment, including the Sennheiser MKH 8050, Sanken CO-100K, and the Tascam Portacapture X8, capturing both detailed stereo imaging and extended frequency content. All recordings were made at 24-bit / 192 kHz, and are delivered in 24-bit / 192 kHz (with some files at 96 kHz when no ultrasonic content was present, optimizing file size without compromising quality).

The collection features a wide range of barks from various dogs. As the recordings were made in a municipal shelter, it wasn’t possible to accurately identify specific breeds, so the sounds have been organized in a practical way:

• 12 categories of small dogs

• 7 categories of medium and large dogs

As a bonus, the library also includes cat meows captured during the same recording session.

As with all our animal libraries, every recording has been carefully edited to remove unwanted background noise such as birds, wind, or human voices. Additionally, thanks to the use of ultrasonic microphones, pitch-shifting the sounds down preserves their full richness and frequency detail.
