As comfortable writing energetic songs for rock bands as she is writing complex arrangements for symphonic orchestras, Gillian Orwoll is a media composer with experience writing for jazz ensembles, orchestras, chamber groups, folk bands, and rock outfits. She has scored numerous short films and indie video games. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Media Scoring at Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema. She graduated from the Crane School of Music with a degree in Music Business/Piano Performance. She has studied the cello, mandolin, guitar, voice, banjo, ukulele, and drums and is well-versed in the classical, jazz, and rock genres. She also fronts American Fever, an NYC-based indie-rock band with two EPs and a single available on Spotify.
