Víctor Herrera Calvo is a music composer from Spain. He started learning how to play the piano at the age of 5. With a huge passion and interest in many different kinds of music he decided to study classical music and music theory in a professional conservatory in Spain. Improvisation and composition were always his biggest passion in music, and he soon started to develop a special link with cinematic music in his compositions. Víctor is graduated in Economic Sciences in the University of Valladolid. He also studied 4 years of Aerospace Engineering in the ETSIA, in Madrid. During his years at university he was learning also about orchestration techniques, orchestral and hybrid composition. He is constantly working in music environment, with different styles and genres, which help him offer a huge quality and versatility in his compositions. Winner of numerous awards at international composition competitions, such as TOP 3 in 2021 Score the World Contest, 1st prize winner at Sonuscore and Best Service-Elysion Composer contest, or 1st prize at Evolution Series Composition Competition, for mentioning the most recent ones, at the moment he is a composer working on soundtracks for video games. He is also working on TV, trailer and commercial music, as an in-house composer for Analog People TV and Music Blvd Group, while enjoying every single moment he spends writing music.
